Warmikuna Reserve | A gem from Peru
Some coffees are just coffee. This one is a story.
"Warmikuna" the Quechua word for Women is our first Reserve selection, and it arrived in our roastery carrying fifty-five extraordinary voices with it. Deep in the Junín highlands of Peru, at altitudes between 1,100 and 1,650 meters above sea level, a collective of 55 visionary female farmers who call themselves Warmikuna have spent twelve years quietly perfecting their craft. Regenerative farming. Intentional cultivation. Near-flawless beans, season after season.
We roasted this coffee the only way it deserved: in small batches, by hand, with full attention on every single bean.
What's in your cup
Warmikuna Reserve opens with a silken, elegant body, delicate floral notes of apricot and chamomile drift in first, unhurried and beautiful. Then comes a rich, grounding warmth of brown sugar and dried dates. Just when you think you've found the bottom of it, a bright finish of lime zest lifts everything back up, leaving you refreshed, surprised, and reaching for another sip.
This is high-altitude coffee at its finest. Complex without being complicated. Sophisticated without being pretentious. The kind of cup that makes you pause and actually taste what you're drinking.
