Tanzania Peaberry is an exclusive single-origin coffee sourced from both the Northern and Southern highlands of Tanzania, carefully selected for its rare and remarkable character.
Grown by smallholder farmers at elevations up to 1,850 meters, from the volcanic slopes near Mount Kilimanjaro in the North to the lush, forested hills of Mbeya in the South; these peaberry beans are nature's happy accident. Where most cherries produce two flat-sided seeds, a peaberry forms as a single round bean, denser and more concentrated in flavor.
This coffee offers an elegantly layered profile with luxuriously smooth chocolate and brown sugar, deepened by hints of raisin, and lifted by a lively lime zing. Refined yet approachable, it offers a beautifully nuanced and memorable specialty coffee experience.
