Specialty coffee is the highest grade of coffee in the world, grown in ideal climates and carefully harvested, processed, and roasted to bring out the bean’s unique flavors. Unlike commodity coffee, specialty coffee is scored 80 points or higher on a 100-point scale by professional coffee graders.

At Sol Fuel Coffee, we source specialty-grade beans and roast them in small batches to highlight their natural tasting notes — from chocolate and caramel to citrus, floral, and tropical fruits. It’s coffee with character, crafted for those who want to elevate their daily cup of coffee.

They’re basically a flavor roadmap for your cup!

When we say chocolate, caramel, or citrus, we’re not adding those flavors — they’re naturally found in the beans, just like wine has fruity or earthy notes. It’s our way of giving you a sneak peek of what your taste buds might discover when you sip.

Tasting notes describe the natural flavors you might experience in a cup of coffee — like chocolate, caramel, citrus, berries, or nuts. These flavors come from the coffee bean itself, shaped by its origin, variety, processing method, and roast.
